STUDENTS / STUDENT COUNSELLING CELL
As a
measure of initiating quality indicators in the system, the management has
decided to constitute the following mentioned functional committees to
strengthen on-campus curricular, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities
for an all-round development of the students. The committee co-ordinators are
hereby instructed to go through the indicators about the nature of work and the
responsibilities so developed and assigned to the particular committees and act
accordingly. And it is further instructed that the faculty had to strive for a continuous
quality sustenance and quality enhancement mechanism to transform our students
into competent global citizens.

Nature of Work and
Responsibilities:
1.
To
facilitate a richer, enhanced and more positive life experience to the students
through providing counselling.
2.
To
resolve the problems of the students in a positive way by helping him/her
clarify the issues, explore options, develop strategies and increase self-awareness.
3.
To
help the students to develop decision making skills needed to meet the
challenges of living and learning.
4.
To
strive for enhancing the Emotional Quotient (EQ) and Social Quotient (SQ) among
the students with the help of trained professional counselors.
5.
To
arrange personal as well as group counselling as and when needed by the
students.
6.
To
prepare an exhaustive report of the work done at the end of the Academic Year
and submit the same to the IQAC.
